Privacy Policy

The Catfoot Wrestling Booster Club Inc is a group of parent volunteers supporting Catalina Foothills High School wrestlers. We collect as little as we can, and we treat what we do collect with care. Here it is in plain language.

What we collect

• Newsletter sign-up: your name, email address, and your role (for example parent, alum, or fan).
• Contact form: your name, email, topic, and the message you send us.
• Donations: payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go straight to Stripe and never touch our site. We never see or store full card numbers. Stripe shares with us the basics we need for our records, such as your name, email, gift amount, and date, and only the last four digits of a card.
• Supporter recognition: if you choose to be listed as a supporter, we show the name you give us. You can opt out at checkout.

How we use it

We use your information only to send the newsletter you asked for, answer your messages, process and acknowledge donations, keep the financial records a nonprofit is required to keep, and thank our supporters.

We never sell or share it

We never sell, rent, or trade your information. We don't share it with anyone except the service providers that help us run the site (listed below), and only as needed to do that job, or if the law requires it.

Unsubscribing

Every newsletter email includes an unsubscribe link. One click and you're off the list. You can also email us to be removed.

Where the site runs

The site is hosted by Netlify, and our domain uses Cloudflare. Like any web host, they may briefly process standard technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect against abuse. Netlify also stores contact form submissions for us.

Cookies

We keep cookies to a minimum. The only cookies we set are login sessions for our officers and newsletter contributors. We use no advertising cookies, no ad tracking, and no cross-site tracking.

Athlete pages

Athlete fundraising and recruiting pages are unlisted and are marked so search engines don't index them. They show only what families choose to share, such as a first name and last initial.

Children's privacy

This site is meant for parents, supporters, and fans. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Information about athletes is added only by their families or the club with family permission. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you at any time. Note that we may have to keep donation records required by law.
